Chief Executive Officer

My name is Joanne English I have worked at People First Merseyside for a very long time!! I started in 2002 and was employed as part of the Valuing People white paper to enable people with learning disabilities to take part in all of the work that went with that including attending lots of meetings locally, regionally and even nationally! I never thought I would still be in this job after so long, I think the reason why I am still here is that every day is different  and every day someone I work with does something that makes me say “wow”. My favourite part about working at People First Merseyside has to be delivering training alongside our members, they always rise to the challenge and I love watching each of them growing in confidence.
