Yesterday, we finally held our AGM on Zoom, it had been delayed from the end of last year to the beginning of this year because of the lockdowns.

It was a great morning, lots of our members joined the meeting to hear presentations about our work over the last 12 months. It was amazing to hear how much we have achieved despite the covid pandemic.

Our projects have continued making progress, we took on 2 new staff and continued to support the welfare of our members. In total, we made 3,751 wellbeing calls by phone and video call, and attended 396 meetings with our colleagues across Merseyside and the North West.

We held elections to fill 2 vacant spots on our Board of Directors. We are delighted to announce that Jade and Jayne were successful and will be taking their place on our Board of Directors for their first meeting in April.

Sadly, Derek Jones, one of our non member Directors stepped down from the Board. Derek has been a real asset and has helped us with decision making. He will be greatly missed but wish him well in his retirement.

As an organisation we are really looking forward to getting back to work we have lots of exciting work planned, some we had to delay and some new opportunities too.
