Art Advocacy – Me, My Mind – Can’t You See?

The HealthFirst Liverpool Group continue to work on their Art Advocacy project each Thursday with Chris Moss facilitating and members of Oakfield Day Service have decided to get involved.

Today people drew pictures of doors and how it made us feel shut out, like we couldn’t speak.  It was really thought provoking.  Lewis said “Chris was a  bit late today but it was alright as this is our group so we got out all of the equipment we need.  We got out the art books we have and we all drew things from there that we wanted to do until Chris arrived.  Once she arrived we worked on our doors and I really enjoyed it.”

The project is moving along at the pace set by our advocates and is truly user led.  If you would like to find out more call 0151 707 6751
