With so much going on with the HealthFirst Liverpool Group and only 3 days to fit everything in – sometimes we really struggle to achieve everything we want – but we keep trying.
Everyone was clear that they missed the coffee mornings and we have been holding these since July. This time we went to the newly refurbished “Head of Steam” by Lime Street Station and it is a beautiful building, the chandeliers are awesome and it is looking absolutely amazing.
Vivien Mansfield from Merseycare came along to talk about the next course we are going to run and it will be starting in the new year. If you know anyone with an interest in health please get in touch. We cover a wide range of subjects – cancer, hygiene, dentists, healthy minds, healthy relationships, exercise, annual health checks, smoking, alcohol and much much more!
It was wonderful to see the guys from Oakfield come along and they were telling us all about the things that they enjoy doing, where they like to go and they were heading off to Greenbank in the afternoon for a game of basketball.
Chris Moss came along she is the art facilitator of the Art Advocacy Group that Lisa Frith, Patrick Burke and Eric Baig have set up. They have spent the last 2 months learning about different art mediums, and planning a project called “Me, My Mind, Don’t You See?”
Kate Barrett came along and it is wonderful to have our parents supporting us and getting involved.
Michael Gentle came from Ellesmere Port to catch up with all of his friends and we had a wonderful morning – we could’ve stayed all day!
Thank you to everyone who came along – see you on Thursday 22nd October for the next one!
