The Friends and Voices Choir Performance at St George’s Hall

On Saturday 11th July 2015 the People First Merseyside Friends and Voices Choir performed at St George’s Hall supporting the In Another Place Gospel Choir and it was out of this world!

The Friends and Voices Choir has been practising with our Choir Teacher Jan Cullen since the beginning of June and have been looking forward to this event to showcase our talents.

Our members had invited friends and family along to see the performance and they were not disappointed.

We were involved in 2 songs “Don’t You Worry Child” and the finale “Happy” – both are on the People First Merseyside facebook page.

Our members have said:

“It was boss, I felt so proud going on stage and singing with the Gospel Choir we sounded fantastic!”

“It was a beautiful room and my mum and dad had come to see me, I’m so happy.”

“I was nervous but it all went away when we got on stage, I loved the songs the choir sings you just want to join in.”

It was fantastic to work with so many other organisations and to be a part of such an amazing production – thank you to the In Another Place Gospel Choir and to Jan our Choir Teacher and the members of our Friends and Voices Choir – what an amazing team!
