On Friday 19th June members of HealthFirst Liverpool and Road Ahead Kyle, Kat, Lisa and Alex all met up in Queen’s Sqaure at 7.00 pm. Whenever we go out together we help each other. We check that we all have enough money, we plan how we are going to get home. We all have each others phone numbers and contact each other.
We got the the bus to Alder Sports Club in Old Swan to support Jimmy at Your Direction Ltd who were holding a Charity Night for Marie Curie. It was a fabulous “rock and roll” night. When we got there the atmosphere was electric with all the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music – it was boss!
On the tables there were balloons, masks, blow up guitars and microphones – we had a great laugh with them! There was a disco and the entertainment was none other then Ricky Aron a Rock and Roll tribute act.
We all had a fantastic night full of fun, laughs and dancing.
At the end of the night we all made sure we got home safely by sharing taxi’s and ringing each other up when we got home.
Kyle said “it was a great night and I was very happy I went.”
It’s fabulous that we support each other to go out without support as friends and work together to help each other.
