Every Tuesday the HealthFirst Liverpool Group have been receiving training sessions organised by Vivien Mansfield who is a Learning Disability Healthcare Facilitator in Merseycare. This week Vivien organised for Jeneen Schofield who is Community Learning Disability Nurse to come in and speak to the group about Relationships. Jeneen runs 12 week coursse for women called “Looking After Me” at Olive Mount – to find out more call 0151 737 4800.
Jeneen worked with us and we talked about ourselves which we then shared with the group. It is important to speak up as well as listen as that is what is important in a relationship.
We talked about different types of loving relationships and the names for these. The most important thing is that a relationship has to be right for you.
The session was really interesting with lots of questions and discussion. Thank you Jeneen for coming along and to Vivien for organising another fantastic session.
