People First Merseyside went to Oakfield Day Service to find out about voting. It was a fantastic and informative day as we had the opportunity to discuss the different political parties and then to design and make our own postcards with our hopes of what the future government can do to improve our lives.
Eric said “I wish there was more jobs for disabled people.”
Katrina said “I don’t want any fighting or wars.”
It was great to meet up with everyone at Oakfield and we all worked hard and thoroughly enjoyed the day. To find out more read this blog from United Response http://www.unitedresponse.org.uk/Blog/postcards-from-the-edges-gets-political-at-our-liverpool-service
